Lesson 180 of science

In this week of science of sharpening knives. First soak bench stones in water for about 5-10 minutes. Then take it out and place it on a flat surface. Keeping the stone wet, place the knife of the stone and tilting it until the edge bevel it flat. Slide it across the stone diagonally keeping the bevel flat. Do this for around 8 or 9 strokes. Then repeat coming back the other way. Then do 8 ordinating the directions. Remember to do this on the part of the knife closest to the handle.

I would like to thank Mr. Daniel Dignan for this year of science.
